If Israel Isn’t Guilty of a Crime, the Law Must Be Changed

International organizations shred their credibility to point the finger at the Jewish state.

In 2024, Shany Mor explained how the normal vocabulary of international relations—words like “occupation,” “proportionality,” and so forth—takes on entirely different meanings when applied to Israel. But more recently, an even more shameless phenomenon has emerged: terms are being given new definitions so that they can be applied to Israel. Thus the IPC, a UN-affiliated international organization tasked with monitoring famine and food shortages, has changed its metrics so that it can declare that there is a famine in Gaza.
