Years of Failed British Policing Has Left Jews—and Non-Jews—Vulnerable

After the murderous terrorist attack on a Manchester synagogue on Yom Kippur, one might think that the United Kingdom has more important issues to deal with than conjuring a Palestinian state from thin air. Add to this an apparent arson attack on a mosque in Sussex. While much conventional wisdom holds that the answer is to recite platitudes about tolerance and understanding while doing little in terms of enforcement, Tom Tugendhat, who formerly served as Britian’s minister of state security, believes English police have been woefully negligent in dealing with the threat of jihadism:
