The Israeli Ambassador Is Right to Condemn J Street

On Monday, the Israeli ambassador to the U.S., Yechiel Leiter, condemned the lobbying group J Street in no uncertain terms. J Street, which styles itself “pro-Israel, pro-peace,” recently promoted and defended Nicholas Kristof’s absurd and unfounded defamation of the Jewish state. While it rarely comes to Israel’s defense, it has been campaigning for an end to American arms sales. The editors of the Jerusalem Post comment:
