The Government Has a Strong Case for Deporting Hamas Sympathizers

Anything that can get you barred from entering the U.S. should be enough to get permission to stay revoked.

Here in the U.S., the Trump administration has been cracking down on the pro-Hamas movements that have established themselves in the universities. On Saturday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents detained Mahmoud Khalil, a foreign national holding a green card and affiliated with Columbia University. ICE apparently intends to revoke his residency status for his role in violent campus protests, but yesterday a federal judge ruled that he cannot be deported without his case being heard. Andrew C.
