Last month, the federal government sent a formal document, the “Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education,” to nine universities that have found themselves in its crosshairs as a path for restoring their good standing. While the mistreatment of Jewish students is not one of the document’s central concerns, it is among the problems its proposals seek to correct, as is the fact that the universities have become fever-swamps of anti-Israel indoctrination.
