Hamas Continues to Rake in Money under Israel’s Nose

It collected tens of millions of dollars in 2025.

On Wednesday, Hamas fighters opened fire at Israeli troops operating in northern Gaza. The IDF responded with an airstrike in Gaza City, which killed what it described as a “senior terrorist” along with another Hamas operative. The jihadist group still controls 48 percent of the Strip, as well as the overwhelming majority of the civilian population, and has not yet released the body of Ran Gvili. It can stay in power in part because its cashflow has not dried up, as Yoav Zitun explains:
