Earlier this month, a Saudi court sentenced over 60 Hamas operatives to prison, with terms ranging from eight months to 22 years. For the most part, they were convicted of money laundering and other crimes related to terror finance. Among them was an eighty-year-old Hamas official who for the past 30 years had been the terrorist group’s de-facto ambassador to Riyadh. Nadav Shragai explains the verdict’s significance:
