Last year, according to a recently published Antidefamation League report, there were 219 anti-Semitic incidents at U.S. universities—a 41-percent increase from the previous year. Such incidents are often directed at Jewish students who express any sympathy for, or connection with, the state of Israel, or at identifiable Jews in the name of Israel’s imagined crimes.
