For much of her career, the Egyptian-born Dalia Ziada was interviewed by her country’s media, and had little problem criticizing jihadists and extremists. That all changed after October 7, 2023, when her anti-Hamas views and sympathy to Israel forced her to flee the country. Here she explains the strategies for undermining the West cultivated by the Muslim Brotherhood, which include using hatred of the Jewish state to rally Muslims of different denominations and ethnicities around an Islamist flag.
