Yet, for those expecting a major announcement about Riyadh joining the Abraham Accords, the result was disappointment. Outlining several factors restraining the kingdom from establishing full diplomatic ties with Israel, Yoel Guzansky suggests what is happening amounts to a “creeping normalization.”
