Moses Maimonides, in His Own Hand and Throughout the Ages

The Golden Path.

On display at the Yeshiva University Museum in New York City until the end of the calendar year, The Golden Path is dedicated to the medieval philosopher, theologian, and talmudist Moses Maimonides. Its artifacts range from items bearing his own signature, to a 14th-century illuminated manuscript of one of his works, to a 1950 portrait by the Jewish artist Artur Szyk. David Bashevkin discusses the exhibit, and looks at some of the items, with its curator, David Sclar. (Video, 7 minutes. An additional video can be seen here.)
