Hamas Goes to Europe

On Wednesday, the Israeli prime minister’s office published a statement explaining that “close cooperation between the Mossad and intelligence and law-enforcement agencies in Europe has led to the seizure of weapons caches and the arrests of terrorist operatives on the continent.” While the main activity seems to have taken place in Germany and Austria, the press release suggests a web of operatives throughout Europe, with the possible support of “elements in Turkey.”
