As Other Nations Condemn Israel, Greece Is Improving Its Ties

Athens and Jerusalem talk economic and military cooperation.

Earlier this month, the Israeli foreign minister Gideon Sa’ar welcomed his Greek counterpart in Jerusalem, a sign of the strengthening of diplomatic, military, and economic relations between the countries over the past decade. Since the war with Hamas began, Greece has been less hostile to Israel at the UN than many European countries, although less supportive than some.
