No longer reliable.

In the wake of the failed attempt to overthrow him, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has brutally crushed dissent, repaired relations with Vladimir Putin, and blamed the U.S. for the abortive coup. All this, after years of pushing an anti-American and undemocratic agenda and obstructing the U.S. request to use the air base at Incirlik in the campaign against Islamic State.
