Philologos Joins Mosaic

Dear readers,

We’re extremely pleased to announce that the Jewish-language columnist Philologos has joined Mosaic. His columns, which delve into the many mysteries of Hebrew, Yiddish, and English—and occasionally Arabic, Circassian, Aramaic, and the various European tongues—have delighted, educated, and occasionally provoked readers at his previous home, the Jewish Daily Forward, for over two decades. We feel confident you will find them a welcome addition to Mosaic.
